Dr. Heezen is currently involved in the Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship track, which will benefit his patients by allowing him to stay on top of the constantly changing field of dentistry. His studies at this time include a focus on special needs patients.
Additionally Dr. Heezen is affiliated with the following associations:
• Minnesota Dental Association
• American Dental Association
• American Dental Education Association
• Academy of General Dentistry
As a native of Plankinton, South Dakota, Dr. Heezen moved to the rural Slayton area in high school. He has four children, Wyatt, Maggie, Karlie, and Morgan. The kids are active in 4H and show sheep and horses at the fair. Some of the other activities he enjoys are ice fishing, archery hunting, camping, traveling and spending time with his children. Through excellent service, hometown friendliness and up to date technical skills, Dr. Heezen hopes to help make his patient's lives better.
